Probate Solicitors London

If you are looking for a probate solicitor or practitioner in London, The Probate Network is a good place to start. The Probate Network is a network of probate solicitors and practitioners based in London (and across the rest of the UK) who offer some initial free probate advice via a twenty-minute telephone consultation. The call can be used to discuss any aspect of probate for example, you may want to simply ask, “Do I need probate?” or you may be part way through the process and have a question about a particular aspect of probate. Queries about paying inheritance tax are very common.

Your twenty-minutes of probate advice may be all you need to successfully complete the probate process. Some simple guidance is sometimes all it takes particularly when dealing with small, simple estates with a small number of beneficiaries. However, if you are feeling overwhelmed by the process, which is understandable if you are grieving, or the estate is overly complicated (complex finances, disputes or numerous beneficiaries are common complications) you may decide the services of a probate solicitor are required. If you do, we hope you choose a London probate solicitor or practitioner from The Probate Network. The free probate advice consultation can be used to both ask questions and to ascertain if the probate solicitor or practitioner is someone you could have a professional rapport with should you need to seek further (paid for) advice.

What you can expect from the call

Our London based probate solicitors and practitioners understand how difficult this time can be and will help to help guide you through the process with compassion and expertise. You can expect clear and concise probate advice that should give you direction for your next steps. All our probate specialists are regulated by either the SRAICAEW or CLC.

 They will be qualified and able to advise on all aspects of probate including (but not limited to);

Following your consultation with a London probate solicitor or practitioner, you’ll have a clearer understanding of the probate process. If following the call, you feel that you require professional support, you’ll be aware of the associated costs if you ask for a probate quote.

If you want to talk about a probate related dispute the call will provide insight into the legalities involved, the likelihood of a successful claim and the potential costs of professional help. The call will help you to decide if the dispute is worth pursuing. Often, when the value of the estate is low, the cost of legal action outweighs the likely return.

What will not happen during the call

You will not be pressured into instructing the probate solicitor or practitioner on a paid basis. The call is to give you free probate advice and is not a sales pitch. However, please note that the call is limited to twenty minutes which, for most people, is all the time required to get the answers to their probate questions. Should you need more in-depth probate advice, or just want to hand over the burden of probate and the associated risks, please ask the solicitor or practitioner to follow up the call with a probate quote.

Other Probate Related Services

The probate process often involves numerous tasks for the executor or administrator, many of which require the support of other probate professionals (not just probate solicitors). You may need help locating a will or financial assets of the deceased. Valuing items including probate property, jewellery or cars may need precision to ensure the inheritance tax is calculated correctly or to help secure probate insurance. It’s possible that you may be struggling to pay inheritance tax or the general costs of estate administration in which case a probate loan could be the answer. Whatever your probate related needs you are likely to find a solution in the probate services business directory. It’s a comprehensive and searchable directory which includes both London and Nationwide based probate services providers.

I used the 20 minute free service. The call I received was punctual and my three questions were answered fully and clearly. There was no pressure to progress to 'paid for' services. On that basis, if I do need further help with probate, I think I'd be happy to try them out.
Really really helpful at such a difficult and vulnerable time.He went through everything clearly and supportively

I can't thank Lesley at Awakened Law enough for the invaluable advice she provides with regards the my late fathers estate. She was kind, sympathetic and answered all my questions. There was no 'hard sell' to employ her services, which, I have to confess, had been a concern. Thanks again to Lesley and The Probate Network.

I needed some advice on completing probate inheritance tax forms. I thought this may be a sales pitch but it wasn't. The guy I spoke with gave me some really useful advice which helped me to complete the all the forms which HMRC seem to be happy with. Great service, highly recommended.

Whilst I did get some useful advice this arena is more focused on selling the services of the solicitor who you meet with, and I felt the advice was not definitive because of that. My call was a WhatsApp video call which I wasn’t expecting. If you’re ready and presentable it’s probably better!

The agent was very patient in dealing with the multiplicity of detail that I supplied, and with the numerous questions that I asked. I sense that this patience caused the consultation to go beyond the allotted time, and that was especially appreciated.

Holly was fantastic. She contacted me prior to the appointment to ensure that the time was still convenient. During the consultation she was objective and informative. Excellent information, advice and guidance. The offer to answer further questions was also offered. An amazing service that really helped me when I needed it massively. Thank you and would recommend this to anyone needing support with regards to being left sorting out an estate, with or without a will. Thank you Holly

Often ‘free consultation’ means vague information and a hard sell so I was sceptical about this service. How wrong I was! They were absolutely brilliant! They listened, they gave me good advice discussing options and made sure I was clear about the legal position before finishing the call. There was no ‘sell’ and no pressure. Based on this experience they come acidosis open, transparent and honest and so, if things don’t work out, I’d be inclined to go back to The Probate Network. Superb!

Booked a 20 minute free consultation as desperate for advice - had no expectation of it actually happening or being useful but it turned out to be exactly what was promised - free, professional advice (and very useful) at the time slot I chose. Am v grateful - thanks.
