These articles relate to contentious probate also known as disputed probate. The articles attempt to answer questions such as ‘Can a will be contested” or “What are the ground for challenging the executor of a will. Contentious probate is a vastly growing area of law because today’s family structures can be complex which can create friction and blur the lines of entitlement rights. It’s also fair to say that disputes over probate are on the increase because the value of property and assets as risen so much – in other words there is more to fight over.
